Here’s one Jeffrey put together this morning: They’re old enough to know that the tools cost coins, and not to spend 50 coins working on a single puzzle. Jeffrey and Jayme really enjoy putting together puzzles, and this app was a good fit for them. Though I didn’t personally enjoy solving puzzles with Daily Bible Jigsaw, I’m leaving this app on my phone. They’re just things that’d make the app a better fit for me and some of the kids. So most of the things I didn’t really like don’t actually have anything to do with the game play. It’d be neat to be able to select your version! We read the KJV, and these verses were not out of that version.There is a tool you can use coins for to be able to see the final picture, but you have to use coins for each puzzle you want to use it on. I think that’s why I had such a hard time. You didn’t get to see what the final picture was supposed to be.There wasn’t a way to block the kids from using the tools and spending coins.I’m not sure if they used them on puzzles, or if they all went to the tools. It would be a nice feature for parents to be able to track. My younger kids figured out you could spend coins and have pieces of the puzzle snap together automatically, and our 500 coins quickly started disappearing. You could earn coins in many ways, such as solving the puzzles quickly, completing a certain number of puzzles, playing daily for so many days in a row Things I Didn’t Like.It was updated frequently, and the developers are quick to address any problems that arise.Since you have to rotate the pieces, it’s more like putting together a “real” puzzle.When you’re finished, a verse from scripture appears on the puzzle.Occasionally we’d use the coins we’d received for this review, or ones that had been earned, to download additional puzzles. So I decided to just let the kids play with this one, and I’d sit it out! □ I let Sydney, Ellie, Jayme, and Jeff all take turns with the daily puzzle. He added to the coin collection for solving quickly! He quickly got the hang of rotating pieces through tapping, and had the puzzle together in no time. I used some coins to purchase a puzzle from the archives and handed my phone over. I’m not going to tell you how long it took me to finally get the puzzle completed, but I will tell you I didn’t earn very many coins for solving it quickly!Īfter I knew what to expect, I called Jeffrey over. I tried the first one though, so I could see what it was like before handing it over to my kids. It was user friendly to navigate, and I had an easy time getting started. Once I got it downloaded on my iPhone, I opened it up. You can also connect through Facebook and play online. The app is available to play on devices with iOS and Android systems. Since it’s a free app, anyone can download it and give it a try. So I agreed to the review and downloaded the app. When asked to review Daily Bible Jigsaw from Planet 316, my initial thought was, “Ugh, puzzles!” But, I knew a couple of the kids, especially Jeffrey and Jayme, would enjoy testing it out. But, several of the kids inherited their daddy’s love of puzzles, so I’m always on the lookout for quality puzzles for them. ![]() That means jigsaw puzzles are not something I really enjoy doing. Spatial sense has always been my lowest intelligence domain.
